Spot On

I love how FB helps keep me apprised of certain things that I might not otherwise be aware of. A friend posted this link and it brought tears to my eyes. Mrs. Obama has taken the cause of military spouses and the particular challenges that we face as we support our man (or woman, for some) in uniform. She manages to acutely capture the issues and then challenges us to help where we can. Its a long video (25 minutes), but its very worth it, especially if you'd like to know more about life as a military spouse. Let me also take a moment to express my gratitude for all of those women (and men) who keep things going while their spouse is away for a year or more. While Tim may still have a year-long deployment in the future, we are so very thankful that his commitments have been less than that so far.
