Ollie has begun preschool here and he loves it so far. I've signed him up for gymnastics and swimming. We're all going to benefit from the activity, I think. He loves to ask questions, tell stories, and listen to stories. O man is into "How to Train Your Dragon" and playing with anything that's in front of him. He seems to be settling into life here just fine, which is a relief. Ollie will talk your ear off, if you'll listen. Like father, like son...I love it.
Charlotte is as fabulous as ever...as long as she's not hungry. She's not in love with car rides, but she loves her brother and her folks. C also loves books and her minnie mouse. She loves to make animal noises, and she talks almost as much as her brother ; )
We bought a Wii instead of cable, with the goal of watching less TV. I turn on kids music on Pandora while I'm working around the house, and that's going well so far.
Tim has ventured to the other corner of the country and is qualifying in the C model. Bummed not to have a reason to visit Goldsboro, but I'll get back there one day.
I'm super busy getting the house in order and settling in. The previous owners painted the ceilings, which made for a dark house. We were very fortunate to have Tim's folks and my cousin and her fiance out to help us paint and fix up the house. My parents (and my sister) helped out by keeping the kids in the 'Ham while we worked. We managed to accomplish a lot, but there's still more to do. The house is great, but it needs some TLC.
